His full name was V. Srinivasa Raghavan, often simply credited as "V.S. Raghavan". He should not be confused with actor V. S. Raghavan. Director V.S. Raghavan had directed films like ''Kalvanin Kadhali'' (1955), ''Sarangadhara'' (1958), ''Manimegalai'', ''Chandrika'' (1950 - Malayalam). He was also a very proficient sound engineer. He owned the erstwhile Revathi Studios in Kodambakkam, Chennai. V.
